Crime: The Lucknow police bust gang of vehicles thieves

Lucknow, June 11:The Krishnanagar police on Thursday arrested five members of the vehicle thief gang ten stolen two-wheelers have been recovered from their possession, police said.

Inspector-in-charge of the Krishnanagar police station Dhirendra Kumar Upadhya informed that on the tip-off of the informer, five vicious vehicle thieves who came to sell stolen motorcycles on Thursday have been nabbed from Vijay Nagar intersection.

The accused caught during interrogation have been identified as Panshu Tiwari, resident of Kanshiram Colony in Para, Hrithik alias Buggi, resident of Alam Bagh, Rajesh Kumar Singh, Shubham Rajput, and Siddharth Sagar.

However, admitting their crime, the accused stated that they used to steal a two-wheeler and sell it at a reasonable price to meet our expensive hobbies. We used to fulfil our hobbies by sharing the money received after selling stolen motorcycles.

Meanwhile, the Krishnanagar police have recovered ten two-wheelers from these accused. Police have registered a case of theft against the accused and sent them to jail.
