Courtesy COVID, protected historical monuments and museums to remain closed till May 15

New Delhi, 15 April: In view of the sudden surge in the cases of Covid-19, once again all the protected historical monuments and museums of the country have been shut.

All the historical monuments of the country will remain closed till May 15. The Ministry of Culture has issued orders in this regard to all ASI offices in all countries.

Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) director of monuments NK Pathak issued the order and closed more than three and a half thousand protected monuments of the country including Taj Mahal, Red Fort, Qutub Minar till may 15. That is, no memorial will open from April 16.
