Sambhal, October 18: The Asmoli Circle officer’s office is being built on the confiscated land of Shariq Sathas, who was involved in the conspiracy of violence during the survey of the Jama Masjid in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. This 200-yard land is located near the Hindupura Kheda police post in Sambhal.
This piece of land was confiscated by the district administration which was acquired through illegal means. Now the police have requested the district administration to allocate this confiscated land for the CO’s office so that security can be strengthened by building the Asmoli CO’s office in the city. Being located on the Sambhal-Hasanpur road, this land is worth lakhs of rupees.
It is worth noting that gangster Shariq Satha’s role as a key conspirator in the riot during the Jama Masjid survey on November 24 also came to light. Three of his accomplices used foreign weapons, killing five people. Four murder cases were registered in this incident. The family of the fifth deceased buried the body without any action.
The SIT investigation revealed the role of Shariq Satha’s accomplices, Mulla Afroz, Ghulam, and Waris. All three have been arrested and sent to jail.
