CM Yogi to visit Varanasi on Monday, to felicitate ‘safai karmacharis’

Varanasi, October 5: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will come to Varanasi on Monday on a two-day visit. The Chief Minister will honor sanitation workers in an award ceremony organized under the Swachhta Abhiyan at Saroja Palace in Piplani Katra.

Apart from this, he will also participate in many other programs here and review the law and order situation.

As per the scheduled program, Chief Minister Yogi will first visit the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) located in Lahartara Chandpur. He will participate in the closing ceremony of the ‘DSR Conclave’ here. After this, the Chief Minister will reach Saroja Palace in Piplani Katra. Here he will honor many sanitation workers of the city in an award ceremony organized under the Swachhta Abhiyan.

Chief Minister Yogi will also attend a ceremony to distribute free sewing machines to 250 women at the Annapurna Rishikul Brahmacharya Ashram of the Annapurna Temple Trust in Shivpur.

Following this, the Chief Minister will hold a review meeting on development works and law and order in the Circuit House auditorium.

Following the meeting, the Chief Minister will also visit and offer prayers at the Shri Kashi Vishwanath and Kaal Bhairav โ€‹โ€‹temples. After a night’s rest at the Circuit House, he will depart for Gorakhpur the next morning. In anticipation of the Chief Minister’s visit, district administration officials are busy finalizing security arrangements along with a review meeting.

The State Agriculture Minister will also participate in the Direct Seeded Rice Conclave.

Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi will also attend the Direct Seeded Rice (DSR) program being held at the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) in Chandpur. 300 scientists, representatives of companies, organizations, and progressive farmers from India and abroad will also be present at the event.
