Dhanbad, 8 September: In the case of death of Judge Uttam Anand in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh by putting up a poster in Dhanbad on Wednesday.

Earlier, the CBI had announced a reward of five lakhs by putting up a poster. CBI’s Crime Branch SP Vijay Kumar Shukla has released this poster.

It has been 40 days since the death of Dhanbad District and Sessions Judge Uttam Anand. But till now the hands of CBI are empty in this matter.

Therefore, the Special Cell of CBI has announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for those who give information related to the death of the judge. It is noteworthy that earlier on August 16, a reward of five lakhs was announced.

The CBI has put up posters at all the square intersections of the city and appealed to the people that if any person has any information related to the killers of the judge, then he should report it at CBI Special Crime Branch One New Delhi Camp CSIR Hospitality Guest House Dhanbad. Or give information about this by calling the CBI’s SP cum case investigator Vijay Kumar Shukla on the mobile number. CBI will give a reward of 10 lakhs to those who give information.

On July 28, Judge Uttam Anand left the house for a morning walk at 5 am. When he did not return home, wife Kirti Sinha called the registrar and informed about it. The registrar informed the matter to SSP Dhanbad, after which the police department was engaged in finding the judge.

After a while the judge was found injured near Randhir Verma Chowk and was declared brought dead on being taken to ANMMCH.

Earlier it was considered to be a normal road accident, but the sensation spread when the CCTV footage showed an auto being deliberately pushed the Judge.

The High Court took cognizance of the matter. The police had arrested the driver Lakhan Verma and Rahul Verma sitting with him late in the night.

On August 4, on the orders of the High Court, the CBI had registered an FIR. After that the CBI took both the accused to Gujarat and Delhi, where they underwent brain mapping, voice analysis and narco test. But till now CBI has not got any special success in this case.
