New Delhi, 21 August: Chandrayaan-3 is just a few hours away from creating history. The countdown to the moon landing has begun. Chandrayaan-3 will step on the moon at 5.45 p.m. on August 23.

Meanwhile, Chandrayaan-2 formally welcomed Chandrayaan-3 on Monday. Two-way communication has been established between the two. Earlier, ISRO also shared some pictures of the moon taken by the vehicle.

On Monday, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) tweeted that the orbiter of Chandrayaan-2 welcomed the lander module of Chandrayaan-3. Bilateral contact has been established between the two.

It is noteworthy that in the year 2019, India launched its mission Chandrayaan-2, but there was a disturbance in the soft landing. Chandrayaan-2 crashed, but it did its job.

The orbiter of Chandrayaan-2 has been revolving around the moon for the last 4 years and is doing its work. Now, after four years, when the Vikram lander has again reached the moon, the orbiter of Chandrayaan-2 has been activated.
