Mumbai, August 21: In the film actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, two teams of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday started their work at different places on the first day of investigation.

While one team spoke to the investigating officers of the Mumbai police department, the other team grilled Neeraj, the cook of the late actor Sushant.

As per the sources, CBI sleuths asked various questions to the investigating officers at Bandra Police Station for almost ten hours. During this, CBI also questioned Mumbai Police’s DCP Abhishek Trimbake.

The second CBI team, in a marathon interrogation of Sushant Singh’s cook Neeraj Singh, has received in-depth information about the day of the incident.

It is learned that he has given information about the scene of the room, from calling the person who broke the lock of Sushant’s room.

However, the CBI also wanted to know from Neeraj that what did he see when the door of Sushant’s room was opened and who else was present in the house during that time?

The CBI wanted to know what was the whole incident of that day and what were the circumstances in the room initially when they saw Sushant’s dead body?

During this time, the CBI wanted to know from Neeraj that how was Sushant behaving shortly before 14 June i.e. the day Sushant died? Was the behaviour a change from what it was before and what did he share with Neeraj and what did Neeraj understand during that time.

Not only this, Neeraj was also questioned by the India’s top investigating agency CBI regarding the role of actress Rhea Chakraborty.

The CBI team is scheduled to interrogate Sushant’s other cooks along with other servants in the case on Saturday. Also, CBI has called Sushant’s friend Mahesh Shetty for questioning.

According to sources, the CBI is focusing its initial investigation on the death case of Disha Salian in Malad on June 8. Disha Salian was Sushant’s manager and her body was found on June 8 under her Malad residence.

The Malvani police have also described the case as suicide.

Similarly, the CBI team on Friday talked to the police officers investigating the case at Bandra Police Station.

The second team questioned the police officers who were the first to reach the actor’s house after the incident.

The CBI also wanted to know from those investigating officers what they saw when they reached the scene and what did they see before lodging a ‘Panchnama’? With this, on what basis did they proceed their initial investigation.

Meanwhile, Bandra Police has recorded a statement of 56 people in Sushant case. The CBI has taken all documents related to Sushant’s death case.

The CBI can also interrogate 56 people whom the Mumbai Police has questioned earlier. The CBI is also going to recreate the crime scene in Sushant’s residence in Bandra in this case.

The way in which the CBI has proceeded with its inquiry on the first day, its objective is that when the CBI reaches Sushant’s house and recreates the events completely, then the information revealed in all these statements will be very important and after that recreation, the CBI will can push forward a afresh investigation.

After this, the CBI can also interrogate Rhea Chakraborty and her family members separately and later by lining them all face to face.
