Bulldozer action continues against encroachments in Sambhal

Sambhal, 14 January: The administration has adopted a strict stance against the encroachments on government land in village Bicholi of Sadar tehsil area of โ€‹โ€‹Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh.

A team of the revenue department has been formed, led by the tehsildar Sambhal Dhirendra Pratap Singh and action is being taken to remove the encroachment after demarcation of various government lands located in the village.

Tehsildar Dhirendra Pratap Singh stated that in village Bichhauli, illegal encroachments by local residents on land parcels number 1242 (0.769 hectares) (livestock), 1241 (0.510 hectares) (garden), 1240 (0.166 hectares) (manure pits), 1238 (0.041 hectares) (road), 1237 (0.182 hectares) (manure pits), 1236 (0.081 hectares) (playground), 1235 (0.040 hectares) (school), and 1234 (0.040 hectares) (panchayat house) are being identified. An administrative team, along with revenue officials, was present on the spot during the demarcation process.

Tehsildar Dhirendra Pratap Singh clarified that a total of approximately 20 bighas of government land will be freed from encroachment. Bulldozer action will be taken to remove identified illegal constructions and encroachments. This action by the administration has created a stir in the village.

The tehsildar has warned that any kind of encroachment on government land will not be tolerated and such action will continue in the future as well.

The tehsildar Singh said that the measurement will be completed today. This is approximately 20 bighas of land, which is registered in the name of Panchayat Ghar, school, etc. Encroachments have been found on it. Cases have been filed against them in various courts and eviction orders have been passed, but these people were not giving up the encroachment. Today, action is being taken to remove the encroachments. Some of these encroachments are residential and some are religious encroachments. These encroachments are being removed.
