Budaun: Lawyer donates for Ram Mandir construction

Budaun: Lawyer Chandra Kant Singh Chauhan donated Rs 26000 to Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust for construction of Ram Mandir.

Singh handed over two cheques of Rs 21000 and Rs 5000 to representative of BJP MP Sanghmitra Maurya.

Senior BJP leaders visited Singh’s residence at the Indira Chowk on January 31 where the lawyer and his family members handed over the cheques.

Singh is an ex-office bearer of the lawyers’ association of the district court.  Late Rameshwsar Singh Chauhan, Chandra Kant Singh’s father, was a renowned lawyer of Budaun.

Chandra Kant Singh’s family is counted among renowned families of the Budaun district.

The VHP launched a nationwide 44-day fund raising campaign for construction of Ram Mandir, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Ram Mandir Nidhi Samarpan Abhiyan from January 15. It will continue till February 27.  

Chandra Kant Singh is also a social worker and always helps the needy and those in distress.

Singh is also an animal lover. He takes care of cows abandoned by dairy owners.
