Balrampur: BJP candidate Aarti Tiwari is set to be elected unopposed as Zila Panchayat Chief

Balrampur, 26 June: For the post of Zila Panchayat chief, the only BJP’s youngest candidate Aarti Tiwari submitted her nomination papers to District Election Officer (DEO) Shruti in the Collectorate premises on Saturday.

Due to the single nomination, BJP candidate Aarti Tiwari is believed to be elected unopposed. On June 29th, the official announcement of being elected unopposed will be made by the administration on the day of withdrawal.

On Saturday, BJP candidate Aarti Tiwari filed nomination for the post of district president. SP candidate Kiran Yadav did not reach the collectorate till 3 pm on the scheduled time. The SPs have accused the police of stopping and kidnapping the candidate.

For which the SPs, led by former minister SP Yadav, raised slogans against the government outside the collectorate premises. Impenetrable security arrangements were made in the collectorate premises for the nomination.

Police and PAC were deployed. Barricading was done on all the routes leading to the Collectorate.

BJP candidate Aarti Tiwari filed nomination for the post of Zila Panchayat Adhayaksh. After this the scrutiny of nomination papers took place. Due to the single nomination, the unopposed election of the BJP candidate is being considered fixed.

BJP officials including Kaiserganj BJP MP Brij Bhushan Bhushan Sharan Singh, MLA Kailash Nath Shukla, MLA Ram Pratap Verma, MLA Shailesh Singh, MLA Paltu Ram, and District President Pradeep Singh have expressed happiness.
