Ayodhya Deepotsav: World record for lighting 06 lakh 11 thousand lamps, Ram Ki Paidi alone witnesses of lighting 4 lakh 10 thousand lamps, approximately 130 crore fund granted for event

Ayodhya, 26 October: A new world record was set on Saturday by lighting 06 lakh 11 thousand lamps on the Deepotsav in Ram city Ayodhya. After this record, it was named in the Guinness Book of World Records.

This record was registered by lighting lamps together at various places in Ayodhya including Ram Ki Paidi. 04 lakh 10 thousand lamps on Ram Ki Paidi, while 02 lakh 01 thousand lamps were lit in various temples and other places in Ayodhya. Ayodhya set a world record by lighting lamps in such numbers.

The plan was to set a world record by lighting more than three and a half lakh lamps, but by the grace of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram, the world record was set to burn more than 4 lakh 10 thousand lamps. Ram Ki Paidi once again became witness to the new world record. The Guinness Book of World Records team announced this effect and issued the certificate on the spot.

On this occasion, the Governor of the state, Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Speaker and Minister of Parliament of Republic of Fiji, Bina Bhatnagar, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Union Tourism Minister Prahlad Singh Patel, UP Tourism, Culture and Charitable Minister Dr. Neelkanth Tiwari and several ministers of Uttar Pradesh cabinet witnessed the creation of this world record. On this occasion, the Guinness Book of World Records was given a certificate to the Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, greeted all the visitors and saints and saints who came in large numbers during the Deepotsav program on the occasion of ‘Deepotsav-2019’ and congratulate for making the atmosphere of Ayodhya beautiful.

He said in his address to light the lamp from the lamp and these lamps should inspire everyone to join together in fulfilling Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s resolve in the fight being fought against injustice, darkness and tyranny.

It is worth mentioning that to give grandeur to the Deepotsav this time, the Ghats of Ram Ki Paidi were extensively given. At the Deepotsav, the light of lamps and colorful electric lights illuminated the entire Ram’s foot.

After lighting the lamp, Ram Katha was performed through a projection mapping show between the lights of the lamp. A grand and divine ‘Deepotsav-2019’ was held in Ayodhya amidst amazing, supernatural and unique. At 12 ghats of Saryu, students and volunteers of various colleges and schools contributed to the Deepotsav program by lighting a lamp.

On this occasion, the Governor, the Chief Minister and the Chief Guest, Deputy Chairman and Minister of the Parliament of the Republic of Fiji also lit the lamp.

It is worth noting that in the second festival of Ram Nagri Ayodhya, which was included in the dream project of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in the program organized under the joint aegis of the state government and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University in the year 2018, lighting three lakh one thousand 152 lamps together at the same place. The world record was set. This time the plan by the state government to break the old world record and create a new world record was successful.

Earlier, on the occasion of the celebrated festival of Deepotsav-2019, a grand and divine aarti of Sarayu was performed at the new ghat of Saryu with devotional atmosphere and chanting. The Aarti was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Republic of Fiji Bina Bhatnagar as Chief Guest and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Smt. Anandi Ben Patel, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and other saint-mahatmas etc.

People were overwhelmed by the supernatural scenes of Aarti and Deep lighting. It was felt that through the lamps, positive energy is emanating from particle to particle. Deepotsav was seen as a festival. Subsequently, a grand and spectacular display of fireworks was performed on the Saryu Bridge.
