Ayodhya: CM Yogi to inspect under-construction Ayodhya Airport on Saturday

Ayodhya, 01 December: Ayodhya, birthplace of Lord Ram, is among the priorities of the Yogi government. The airport is about to be ready before the consecration ceremony to be held on January 22.

So, keeping this in mind, the construction work of Maryada Purushottam Shriram International Airport is being done at war footing.

Commissioner Gaurav Dayal inspected the airport along with IG Praveen Kumar on Friday. The Chief Minister will be on a visit to Ayodhya on Saturday. In view of this, Commissioner and IG conducted on-site inspection of Maryada Purushottam Shriram Airport under construction.

He observed various construction works and gave necessary directions to the Airport Authority of India (AAI) Project Engineer Incharge Rajeev Kulshrestha.

The officers also took stock of all the security arrangements during the inspection of the airport under construction. Senior officers of AAI and officials of police and administration were present on this occasion.

Construction work of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram Airport is almost 95 percent complete.

It is noteworthy that Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram Airport is almost ready. The runway work of the airport has been 100 percent completed while the work on the terminal building has been 95 percent completed. Flights may also start from Ayodhya airport by mid-December.

According to the information, first the flights will start from Ayodhya to the capital Delhi and Ahmedabad. Flights to Delhi will start seven days a week and to Ahmedabad three days a week. Indigo and SpiceJet have also conducted a survey and soon the routes of both the companies will also be decided.

Apart from this, a big grand gate is also being built at Ayodhya Airport.
