New Delhi, 02 November: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will not appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) today (Thursday). ED had issued summons to Kejriwal to appear on November 2 in the alleged scam in Delhi Excise Policy.

According to sources, Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has replied to ED.

Kejriwal wrote a letter to the investigating agency calling its summons politically motivated and illegal and demanded withdrawal of it.

It is noteworthy that the central investigation agency ED is investigating the case related to money laundering in the Delhi Excise Policy Scam. There is talk that ED has collected a lot of evidence before summoning Kejriwal.

In the same case, the investigating agency has already arrested former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh.

At the same time, before the appearance of Kejriwal, raids have been conducted at the house of another Delhi government minister Rajkumar Anand.

On the other hand, AAP’s spokesperson said that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will appear before the ED only after the upcoming polls of five states will over.
