Arms licenses of mafia-turned-politician Atique Ahmed, including 23 others suspended

Prayagraj, August 13: The District Magistrate (DM) on Thursday suspended the arms license of a total of 23 people, including mafia-turned-politician Atique Ahmad, under various criminal lawsuit cases. Along with this, notice has been issued for the cancellation.

DM Bhanu Chandra Goswami has issued a notice for arms cancellation, suspending arms licenses of a total of 23 people on the basis of criminal cases registered under various sections and reports of senior superintendent of police (SSP).

Under this, a case has been registered in the police station Dhumganj against the former MP Atique Ahmed who is lodged in Ahmedabad jail of Gujarat.

Along with this, case against Shadab son Ittehar has registered in police station-Kareli, Israr son Abdul Sattar in police station-Khuldabad, Mukhtar Ahmed son Abdul Sattar in police station-Khuldabad, Mohamad Isa son Vishum in police station-Khuldabad, Girish Dubey son Jagdish Dubey in police station Georgetown, Noor Akhtar son Hashim thana-Kareli, Mohamad Azam son Mohamad Aslam in police station-Khuldabad, Mohamad Imran son of Moh. Jayi in police station-Khuldabad, Idris alias Bablu son of Sufi in police station-Civil Lines, Sanjay Prasad Mishra son Dayashankar Mishra in police station-Kaundhiyara who was a guard in SRN (11) along with 12 other peopleโ€™s arms licenses have been suspended, and in this regard the suspension notice of arms licenses has also been issued.
