New Delhi, June 11: In the midst of uncertainties surrounding the current ruling partnership between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP), an independent MLA who formerly belonged to the BJP guaranteed that the BJP had the support of the independent MLAs.

Randhir Singh Golan (Independent MLA), a former BJP Kisan Morcha leader, had stated, “Independent MLAs will give the BJP their full support.” “The state government will remain in place and will be reformed in 2024,” he stated. “The government has full support from our side, and there is no threat to the government,” he added. On Saturday, Golan claimed, they met with Haryana BJP in-charge Biplab Deb and three other MLAs.

“It was just an organisational meeting to figure out how to get Prime Minister Narendra Modi 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana over the next few years. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, we will win 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana,” he said. “It was just a courtesy call. We talked about the general elections in 2024. We need to consolidate our hold on 10 out of 10 seats and win,” he stated.

Randhir Singh Golan, on the other hand, stated that they did not discuss the allocation of tickets during the meeting. “Time will tell how we contest elections,” he remarked.

In response to the recent squabble in Haryana’s BJP-JJP coalition government, MLA Randhir Singh Golan stated, “This is a matter for both parties; I should not comment on it.”
