Instructions have been issued to deploy reinforcements in sensitive and highly sensitive areas from a security perspective.
Police Headquarters has directed all senior police officers and commissionerates to ensure the peaceful conduct of Friday prayers. Strict action should be taken against anyone attempting to disrupt the atmosphere. Following orders from Headquarters, police have increased vigilance in the state capital Lucknow, Kanpur, Saharanpur, Unnao, and all districts.
As per the orders of the police HQ, special surveillance is being maintained around mosques. Police officers are patrolling sensitive and highly sensitive areas with reinforcements.
