Unnao/Lucknow, 31 August: Inspector Har Prasad Ahirwar of Auras police station and investigator Tameezuddin have been suspended in connection with the attempt to commit suicide by the private secretary to the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) in room number 825 on the eighth floor of Bapu Bhavan. This action has been taken due to negligence on both.
The ACS Urban Development Rajnish Dubey’s private secretary Vishambhar Dayal shot himself after reaching his office at Bapu Bhawan on Monday afternoon. He is undergoing treatment at Lohia Hospital, where his condition remains critical. Police have received a suicide note from Vishambhar’s office in which the sister-in-law has mentioned the harassment being done by the Unnao police.
However, IG Laxmi Singh is investigating the entire matter and she reached Unnao late at night. Here she took the documents related to the cases filed by the private secretary’s sister-in-laws and the progress report of the police.
The IG stayed in Unnao for about two hours. After this she directly reached Lucknow and met the victim’s family. In the family, while consoling the wife Geeta, she assured them of all possible help. The IG has suspended two people, including the Auras police station in-charge, for being negligent late at night
