UP will receive a major gifts, PM Modi’s program should be historic: CM Yogi

Meerut, February 21: The chief minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Meerut on Saturday afternoon to take stock of the preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s program on Sunday.

The Chief Minister inspected the venue, railway station, and other facilities. He stated that the expansion of the Namo Bharat Rapid Rail and the inauguration of the Meerut Metro will prove to be a milestone in the urban and industrial development of Western Uttar Pradesh. This project will not only provide fast, safe, and modern transportation, but will also give a new impetus to economic, educational, and industrial activities between Delhi-NCR and Western Uttar Pradesh.

The Chief Minister stated that over one lakh people are expected to participate in this program. Given its importance and large public participation, all arrangements should be smooth, safe, and fully organized.

The Chief Minister emphasized the need for effective parking and traffic management at the venue. The Chief Minister directed to ensure adequate arrangement of CCTV cameras, multi-layered and coordinated security arrangements at and around the venue. He clarified that laxity at any level in security and accessibility will not be acceptable.

Prime Minister to gift several projects worth โ‚น 13,000 crores On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate to the nation the Namo Bharat Rapid Rail and Metro Rail service from Sarai Kale Khan to New Ashok Nagar (5 km) in Delhi and from Meerut South to Modipuram, built at a cost of Rs. 12,930 crores. Prime Minister Modi will gift these to the nation in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at a program organized at Mohiuddinpur Rally Ground in Meerut.

Prime Minister will flag off the Meerut Metro and Namo Bharat Train at Shatabdi Nagar Namo Bharat Station. From here, he will travel by metro to Meerut South Station. The Prime Minister will also address a public meeting in Meerut.

During the Chief Minister’s inspection, State Minister Dinesh Khatik, Meerut MP Arun Govil, Mayor Harikant Ahluwalia, Legislative Council member Ashwini Tyagi, BJP regional president Satyendra Sisodia and officials of the local district and police administration were also present.
