Lucknow, December 27: The Police Manthan-2025, a conference of senior police officers, is underway on Saturday at the Police Headquarters in Lucknow.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the two-day event. Various law and order challenges, including cybercrime, human trafficking, and social media-related issues, will be discussed.
Upon the Chief Minister’s arrival, Director General of Police (DGP) Rajiv Krishna and ADG PAC Ram Krishna Swarnkar warmly welcomed him with a bouquet of flowers. The Chief Minister was presented with a traditional guard of honor on the occasion.
During the beat policing session of the Senior Police Officers’ Conference, the Chief Minister launched the ‘Yaksh App’. The ‘Yaksh App’, a digital beat-book, will simplify, streamline, and make the daily tasks of beat personnel more effective.
On this occasion, presentations were made on operational problems and practical solutions under the leadership of nodal officer, ADG Crime, S.K. Bhagat.
Regarding the program, Director General of Police, Rajiv Krishna, stated on Friday that Police Manthan is not merely a formal conference, but a well-thought-out and goal-oriented initiative designed to further strengthen law and order in Uttar Pradesh, keeping in mind future needs.
Police Manthan 2025 will feature presentations by 11 senior nodal IPS officers and their 45 supporting police officers through 11 thematic sessions, aimed at making the Uttar Pradesh Police more effective, modern, professional, accountable, and trust-based. Furthermore, best practices and innovations will be discussed to ensure continuous improvement in policing.
