College Professor claims death threat from judge’s son in UP, probe on

Noida, November 19: A college professor has filed a report at the Knowledge Park police station in Gautam Buddha Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh that a person is calling and threatening to kill him. The Professor alleged that the caller has claimed to be a judge’s son.

The Inspector in-charge of the Knowledge Park police station, Sarvesh Kumar Singh, said that Dr Manoj Rana, a professor at Trinity College Knowledge Park, has filed a report at the police station today stating that he is the campus director.

According to the victim, a young man named Ritesh is allegedly calling him over his phone and threatening to kill him and face serious consequences.

He said that according to the victim, the accused is claiming himself to be a son of a judge. He said that after registering a report of the incident, the police is probing the matter.
