Ghaziabad, October 14: A man shot and killed his wife in the Ajnara Integrity High Rise Society in Raj Nagar Extension, under the Nandgram police station area of ​​Ghaziabad district, Uttar Pradesh, on Tuesday, informed police.
The accused fled the scene after the murder.

According to police, a murder case has been registered against the accused and his deceased wife, and action has been taken under the Gangster Act. Upon receiving information about the murder, Deputy Commissioner of Police (City) Dhawal Jaiswal stated that Nandgram police station received information that a man named Vikas Sehrawat, a resident of Ajnara Integrity Society, had shot and killed his wife Ruby. SHO Nandgram Umesh Kumar arrived at the scene with the field unit and inspected the scene.
He stated that prima facie investigations revealed that Vikas Sehrawat was not only a drug addict but also had no business. Due to which a fight broke out between the husband and wife today. After that, Vikas shot Ruby dead in front of his younger daughter Navya, 11, who was at home at that time.
He told that at the time of the incident, his elder daughter Kavya had gone to school.
The DCP told that Modinagar Kotwali police had earlier taken action against the murderer Vikas and the deceased Ruby under the Gangster Act. Cases under sections of murder have been registered against both of them.Â
Deputy Commissioner of Police City Dhawal Jaiswal said that three police teams have been formed to arrest the accused. He claimed that he will be arrested soon.
