3 history-sheeters from Hathras held in Firozabad

Firozabad, October 14: The Firozabad police has arrested three history-sheeters from Sadabad in an encounter on Tuesday. The police sent two accused injured by bullets in the leg to the district hospital for treatment, said police.

Additional Superintendent of Police Anuj Chaudhary said that the Station House Officer (SHO) Sirsaganj Vaibhav Kumar Singh was on patrol in the area with the police team on Tuesday. Information was received that the accused wanted in a case registered at Sirsaganj police station were coming from Mainpuri towards Sothara Road, Nagla Rai Sirsaganj. On receiving the information, the police team checked suspicious persons near Sothara Road, Nagla Rai turn.

Meanwhile, a car and a motorcycle were seen coming from Mainpuri. When the police team stopped them, the suspects riding in the vehicles opened fire on the police team. In the retaliatory firing by the police team in self-defense, accused Mohsin alias Mosim, son of Guddu Khan, and Sahil alias Rafiq, son of Nanhe Khan, were shot in the leg. The accused were arrested in an injured condition, while their accomplice, Kamal, son of Tularam, resident of Subhash Gali, New Basti, Sadabad, Police Station, Hathras district, was arrested from the spot.

The ASP told that 3 illegal pistols, 5 live and 5 empty cartridges, a stolen motorcycle, the Kwid car used in the incident, 6 stolen Android mobile phones, and Rs 5400 looted were recovered from the accused’s possession. ASP said that the injured accused have been sent to the hospital for treatment.
