Bareilly, September 30: Following CM Yogi’s ‘denting-painting’ action against lawbreakers, the Bareilly police and district administration on Tuesday have sealed the marriage hall of a close associate of Maulana Tauqeer Raza.
SP City Manush Pareek said that the BDA team sealed the Humsafar marriage hall located in Nariyawal on Shahjahanpur Road. This marriage hall belongs to Sharafat, a resident of Sufi Tola, a close associate of Maulana Tauqeer Raza.
Officials said that the building was constructed without permission and in violation of standards. The marriage hall was sealed by pasting a notice.
Meanwhile, the Municipal Corporation team bulldozed an illegal charging station located at Raza Chowk Surkha Bankhana in the Prem Nagar area. The charging station was operating on stolen electricity and was linked to SP councilor Oman Raza.
The BDA also locked Oman Raza’s sanitary shop in the Kohra Peer area, as it was also operating without permission.
City Magistrate Alankar Agnihotri, CO Ashutosh Shivam, and Prem Nagar Inspector Suresh Chandra Gautam were present with the police force during the action.
The SP City stated that the action was conducted peacefully and under strict supervision, keeping law and order in mind. No leniency will be tolerated against illegal construction and illegal activities.
