Patna, August 11: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has published the draft voter list after the successful completion of the first phase (counting phase) of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Bihar on August 01. Along with this, its list was also handed over to all the recognized political parties.
ECI has not received any objection from any political party so far
The Election Commission of India (ECI) said in its daily bulletin that from August 1 to August 11 (Monday), no booth-level agent (BLA) appointed by all the political parties has contacted the election officials in the claim and objection process. At the same time, the number of claims-objections directly through voters is 10,570, out of which 127 have been disposed of. Similarly, the total number of forms received from new voters who have completed 18 years and above is 54,432.
After the revision of the voter list, the draft given to the recognized political parties of Bihar includes Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Communist Party of India (Marxist), Indian National Congress, Janata Dal United (JDU), Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Rashtriya Lok Samata Party, Bharatiya Party of India, (Marxist-Leninist) (Liberation) and National People’s Party.
