Hapur, July 28: A wanted gangster of Bihar has been killed in police encounter in the early hours of Monday in Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh. The injured gangster died during treatment in the hospital. A large amount of arms, cartridges and other items have been recovered from the spot, police informed.
According to the police the deceased criminal has been identified as Dabloo Yadav son Surya Narayan Yadav resident of Thana Sahebpur Kamal, Begusarai Bihar. The deceased gangster was wanted in a murder case from Begusarai Bihar and a reward of Rs 50,000 was announced. The main absconding gangster Dabloo Yadav of Shahpur Kamal police station area under Begusarai district was a notorious criminal and is a registered gang A 121 in Begusarai district.
According to the Additional Director of Police STF Amitabh Yash, on May 24 May 2025, Block President of Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM Party) and social worker Vikas Kumar alias Rakesh Kadam of Begusarai district under Sahebpur Kamal police station was kidnapped and murdered by Dabloo Yadav gang. He was absconding and a reward of Rs 50,000 was also announced on him.
ADG STF told that UP STF and Bihar, Hapur police received information about his being in Hapur. On this, he was surrounded near Badda canal in a joint operation. The miscreant started firing on the police teams. He was injured in retaliatory action and died in the hospital. About 24 cases of serious crimes like robbery, murder are registered against the slain gangster.
