7 held for converting Hindus to Christians in Azamgarh

Azamgarh, 29 November: A prayer meeting was held in the name of exorcism in a room of Mohalla Ambedar Nagar Talia, behind Saraimir police station, in which people were being converted to Christianity.

On the information of Bajrang Dal workers, the police raided the room and detained seven people. Religious books and other items were recovered from the room. Two dozen people were being converted here.

Phulpur convenor of Bajrang Dal Prashant said that Bajrang Dal is lodging the complaint in the police station in this regard.

Additional Superintendent of Police Rural Rahul Russia said, the police went to the spot and arrested seven people.
