2 Bangladeshi nationals arrested by UP Police for unlawfully living in India

Lucknow, 20 July: According to authorities, two Bangladeshi nationals were detained on Thursday for allegedly unlawfully staying in India and engaging in anti-country actions.

The two, identified as Habibullah Misbah and Ahmadullah alias Abdul Aval, were apprehended by the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) at 9.30 p.m. Wednesday in the Deoband region of Saharanpur district, Special DG (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar said in a statement.

During interrogation, the two men told police that they unlawfully crossed the border into India and obtained bogus IDs in West Bengal, he claimed.

According to the allegation, Habibullah also filed for an Indian passport using false documents.

According to the statement, the two made money accessible to Sama Parveen, Sahadat’s wife, who was apprehended by the NIA in Bhopal.

Police stated they recovered forged documents from the arrested suspect’s possession and that an investigation is ongoing.
