Lucknow/Bareilly, 6 August: The Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday conducted an in-depth review of the development plans of four districts of Bareilly division, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Badaun and Shahjahanpur. During this, he approved important projects on the proposals of many MPs, MLAs and public representatives.
In the divisional review meeting held at the Circuit House, the Chief Minister interacted with the public representatives and officials and gave priority to new development works on the basis of their ground understanding and experience. On the proposal of BJP MLA Sanjeev Agarwal from Cantt, approval was given to build a modern satellite flyover in Y-shape and convert Pilibhit bypass into four lane. Due to which traffic towards Pilibhit road will also be smooth and accident free.
CM gave instructions to expedite the much-awaited Nath Corridor scheme. Subhashnagar underpass has been included in the priority. This will facilitate in connecting the eastern and western parts of the city. A new road will be constructed from Harungala to Nagdevta temple behind Pawan Vihar Colony. This route will promote religious tourism as well as improve the connectivity of rural areas.

CM directly communicated with each MLA on the primary problems and developmental needs of their areas. He gave clear instructions to the officials that consultation with public representatives is mandatory before proposing any project. BJP MLA from Nawabganj Dr MP Arya said that proposals for development schemes have already been given.
Chief Minister reviewed those development proposals in the meeting. Officers of development departments including PWD have been asked to speed up the construction work. The development works included connectivity to block headquarters, inter-connectivity roads, access roads to religious places, bypass, ROB, underpass, flyover, major and minor bridges, road safety measures, irrigation projects. These will overcome the geographical challenges of the region. The local economy will also get a boost.
Chief Minister specifically directed that all the works that require improving interstate connectivity in Bareilly division should be included in the first phase action plan based on the recommendations of the MLAs. Also, he directed the Urban Development Department that before preparing a proposal for any project, guidance of local public representatives should be taken compulsorily.
Chief Minister said that only making plans should not be our goal. Ensuring their timely and effective implementation at the ground level should be the first priority. He instructed the officials to make the experiences and regional inputs of the public representatives the basis of policy making. The government’s intention is to take every scheme to concrete results. For this, accountability will be fixed, use technology in an effective manner. There will be no compromise on the quality of construction works.
Chief Minister requested the public representatives to continuously monitor the proposed works in their area and play an active role in shaping the schemes in accordance with local public sentiments.
