Yogi inaugurates India’s 1st AI-based university in Unnao

Unnao, July 26: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday inaugurated the country’s first Artificial Intelligence (AI) Augmented Multidisciplinary University ‘Chandigarh University, Uttar Pradesh’ in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh. This university is located on the Lucknow-Kanpur Highway in Nawabganj.

In the program, Chief Minister Yogi said that the establishment of AI based Chandigarh University in Unnao near the state capital Lucknow is a coordination of ancient and modernity. He said that for a long time there was a demand from Unnao district that a university should be established. This university will pave the way for development in IT, electronics, health, agriculture, manufacturing of security equipment and different areas of life. This university has been established keeping the role of AI in the district at the center. This is a big opportunity for Unnao. It will play a major role in fulfilling India’s dream of development. This university will contribute in advancing the youth power.

Chief Minister said that Unnao is known for its literary, historical pen, skill and charismatic style. There are many such holy places which represent our spiritual heritage. Many such personalities participated enthusiastically in the freedom struggle of the country. The country gets inspiration from them.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi also planted a sapling in the university campus under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam program.

On this occasion, the state’s Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay, Chancellor of Chandigarh University and MP Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary Higher Education MP Agarwal, MP Hari Sakshi Maharaj, District Panchayat President Shakun Singh, professors of various faculties of the university, students and other dignitaries were present.
