Lucknow, February 23: The Uttar Pradesh government achieved a major success on Monday, the very first day of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s visit to Singapore. Universal Success Group signed three important Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) for an investment totaling ₹6,650 crore in the state. These investments will be in strategic sectors such as group housing, logistics, and hyperscale data centers. These three projects will also create over 20,000 jobs.
Chief Minister Yogi apprised investors of Uttar Pradesh’s policy stability, excellent connectivity, and rapidly developing industrial infrastructure. The group has been invited to Lucknow to establish a data center. The Chief Minister stated that the Uttar Pradesh government is committed to supporting investors at every level.
These three MoUs, signed on the very first day of Chief Minister Yogi’s visit to Singapore, are considered significant achievements in strengthening the state’s economy, reshaping urban development, and ensuring large-scale employment generation.
A state government spokesperson stated that under the first project, an international-themed township will be developed on 100 acres of land near Jewar Airport in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) area. An investment of ₹3,500 crore is proposed in this project. Once operational, it will generate employment for approximately 12,000 people. The project is planned to be launched in 2027 and will give a new identity to the rapidly developing urban area around Jewar International Airport.
He added that the second project involves the development of a logistics park on 50 acres of land on the Kanpur-Lucknow Highway. This project involves an investment of ₹650 crore and is expected to create approximately 7,500 jobs. This is also planned to be launched in 2027. This logistics park will play a key role in boosting the state’s industrial and export activities.
The state spokesperson added that under the third project, a hyperscale data center park with 40 MW of IT power capacity will be established on 10 acres of land in the Noida/Greater Noida area. This project will involve an investment of ₹2,500 crore and provide employment to approximately 1,500 people. According to the MoU, the project is scheduled to be operational in 2028. This investment will be a significant step toward establishing Uttar Pradesh as the nation’s leading data center hub.
