Yogi conducts an aerial survey of Bahraich boat accident site, meets affected families

Lucknow/Bahraich, November 02: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met with the families of those who lost their loved ones in the boat accident in Bahraich on Sunday.

During the meeting, he expressed his condolences to the affected families and handed over relief cheques of four lakh rupees each to the affected families.

CM said that the government and public representatives stand with them in this hour of grief. Earlier, CM Yogi conducted an aerial survey and closely assessed the situation.

CM Yogi directed officials to relocate the affected families of Bharatpur within a month. An amount of 21 crore 55 lakh rupees was also approved for this purpose. He also directed the officers to provide funds, land, and housing to all affected families.

He said that all the displaced families from Bharatpur should be rehabilitated by building a colony in the name of the village. Furthermore, the process of rehabilitating people from other villages like Bharthapur in Bahraich should also be initiated, and the necessary budget for the relocation should be presented to the government so that they can also be relocated to a safe location as soon as possible.

CM Yogi met with the affected families and stated that the government stands with them in this hour of grief. He assured the affected families that within a month, all the villagers would be rehabilitated in a colony named after their village, where they would be provided with all the necessary amenities.

Prior to this, Yogi conducted an aerial survey of the area and obtained detailed information from the officials present on the spot. He gave clear instructions that a systematic rehabilitation system should be established within a month by building a colony for all the affected families and villagers.

He said that all essential amenities, including electricity, water, roads, and housing, should be ensured under this scheme. Chief Minister Yogi said that this process should be completed within a month so that the rehabilitation of the affected families can be expedited.

He also said that arrangements should be made to immediately relocate those forced to live in the dense forests of Bahraich to safer locations.
