Women’s Day message: CM Yogi vows safety for daughters

Lucknow, March 8: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, wrote a letter to the women of the state, highlighting the importance of their contribution. He stated that women play a crucial role in building a strong society.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that the government is committed to the safety, dignity, and self-reliance of half the population. He stated that crimes against women were common before 2017. Today, daughters are safe in the state. This is made possible by clear policy and clear intentions.

In the letter addressed to the women, Yogi wrote that Mission Shakti and the anti-Romeo campaigns have instilled fear in the minds of criminals. Where daughters are safe and respected, society progresses steadily. Today, there has been an unprecedented decline in the dropout rate, maternal mortality, and infant mortality rates. Girls are receiving equal opportunities from education to employment. Today, the women power of Uttar Pradesh is creating a new chapter of self-reliance.

The Chief Minister said that BC Sakhi, Lakshmi Didi, Drone Didi, Health Sakhi, and Surya Sakhi, along with their families, are empowering the state. Respect for women should be paramount for the entire society. Mother and motherland are greater than heaven.

The Chief Minister wrote in his letter that the daughters of the state need not fear anyone. The government is giving wings to the dreams of daughters.
