UPPCL officials share 24/7 power supply management system during Prayagraj Mahakumbh in Ujjain

Lucknow/Ujjain, 18 December: In a high-level meeting of Madhya Pradesh West Zone Electricity Distribution Company Limited held in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh on Thursday, a team of senior officials from Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) shared their experiences with the senior officials of Madhya Pradesh West Zone Electricity Distribution Company Limited on the preparations, execution, their experiences during the fair and other important points for power supply during Prayagraj Mahakumbh.

Executive Engineer Jayendra Thakur gave a presentation to the team on the proposal, planning and other important points required for uninterrupted power supply in the Simhastha 2028 fair and the city by Madhya Pradesh West Zone Electricity Distribution Company Limited. Presently serving and retired officials of the department who had served in Simhastha 2016 were also called in the meeting.

During Simhastha 2016, NC Gupta, the then District Superintendent Engineer, SN Verma, the then Mahakal Zone in-charge, VK Malviya, the Dutt Akhara Zone in-charge, Ashish Acharya, the former City Division in-charge, KK Sharma, and the then Assistant Engineers SK Jain, Pallavi Tailang, and SK Yadav offered suggestions.

Chief Engineers (Corporate Office) SL Karwadiya, SC Verma, and CA Thakar instructed department officials to incorporate innovations and other important points made in Prayagraj during Simhastha 2028 and ensure high quality and timely Simhastha work. Superintendent Engineer VK Malviya expressed his gratitude.

After the meeting, the team of officials visited the Shipra River ghats, Peshwai Marg, Mahakal Temple complex, and the fair area, understood the power supply planning there, and gave instructions.

During the visit, Superintendent Engineers Manoj Kumar Gupta, Praveen Kumar Singh and Anoop Sinha from the UPPCL, Chief Engineer SL Karwadiya and Additional Chief Engineer SC Verma from Madhya Pradesh West Zone Electricity Distribution Company Limited were present.
