Amethi, August 10: A shocking incident has come to light from Amethi district of Uttar Pradesh where a wife fed intoxicants to her husband and cut off his genitals.
As soon as he screamed, wife ran away from the house. On the complaint of the family, the police have registered a case under relevant sections and are engaged in investigation and legal proceedings.
According to the family, this incident happened early Sunday morning when Mohammad Ansar (38) son of Wasid Ali, a resident of Kachanav village under Jagdishpur Kotwali area, had married twice. He went to sleep in the room at night with his second wife. On Sunday morning around 4, the sound of screaming started coming from the room. Then Ansar’s family members reached the room and were stunned to see the condition of the room. As soon as the door of the room was opened, Ansar’s second wife ran away from the spot. Ansar was groaning inside. Many knife marks were found on his body and his private part was cut.
Ansar told that while he was sleeping, his wife first cut his private part with knives. After that, she stabbed him at many places on his body, due to which he was seriously injured. The family immediately took him to the trauma center of Community Health Center Jagdishpur. Where after giving first aid, the doctors referred Ansar in critical condition to AIIMS Raebareli, where he is undergoing treatment.
In this case, Musafirkhana Police Circle Officer (CO) Atul Kumar Singh said that on August 10, Police Station Jagdishpur District Amethi received information that Mohammad Ansar son Wasid Ali resident Kachanov Police Station Jagdishpur has married twice. He had his first marriage in 2011 and the second marriage in March 2025. There was a dispute between Ansar’s second wife and Ansar regarding this matter. Last night, when Ansar slept, his wife attacked him with a knife and cut Ansar’s private part.
CO told that along with this, Ansar also suffered injuries in other parts of his body. Ansar was brought to Jagdishpur Community Health Center in an injured state where Ansar was treated. After treatment, seeing his critical condition, he was referred to AIIMS Raebareli. Legal action is being taken by registering a case on the complaint of the victim’s family.
