UP Tourism dept organizing ‘Sunday on Cycle’ on Sep 21, invites public, health freaks, officials for participation

Lucknow Lucknow, September 19: Taking forward Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Fit India Movement, the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department is launching the ‘Sunday on Cycle’ program. This initiative focuses on promoting fitness, an active lifestyle, environmental protection, and raising awareness about the state’s tourist destinations. ‘Sunday on Cycle’ will begin on September 21 (Sunday) from Tourism Bhawan in the capital, Lucknow.

The Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department has invited the general public and health-conscious individuals to join the campaign. The ‘Sunday on Cycle’ campaign will begin at 6:30 am on September 21 from Tourism Bhawan, Gomti Nagar (Lucknow).

The Tourism Department has requested all citizens, officials, and employees to arrive at the event venue on time with their bicycles and actively participate in this fitness and environmental awareness campaign.

Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh stated that the government is prioritizing the promotion of health and an active lifestyle among citizens. The “Sunday on Cycle” campaign not only promotes fitness but also spreads the message of environmental protection and tourism awareness. He appealed to all citizens to take their bicycles and participate in this campaign and contribute to the success of the Fit India Movement.

Special Secretary Tourism Isha Priya stated that the “Sunday on Cycle” program, organized by the Tourism Department, is a unique opportunity for the residents of Lucknow. Through this program, citizens can connect with health and the environment through cycling, as well as tourism.

She urged all citizens, officials, and employees to reach the event venue on time and be an active part of this public awareness initiative. He emphasized that the cooperation of citizens will make this program a success.”
