Lucknow, July 03: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has criticized the statements made by Samajwadi Party (SP) leaders on Kanwar Yatra.
BJP state spokesperson Rakesh Tripathi said that the Samajwadi Party is trying to endanger communal harmony by making statements one after the other as part of a well-planned conspiracy. For this, in order to create obstacles in the Kanwar Yatra in the holy month of Sawan, first the SP leaders call the Kanwariyas violent. ST Hasan compares them to terrorists and now Ravidas Mehrotra, these series of statements of SP are being given on the instructions of SP President Akhilesh.
Rakesh Tripathi said that the Indi- alliance is behind this. They want that communal harmony is disturbed. There should be obstacles in the festivals of Hindus and this will lead to religious mobilization, vote bank will be created but this effort will prove to be very costly.
