UP Assembly Monsoon Session to begin on Aug 11, traffic diversions to be in place

Lucknow, August 10: The four-day monsoon session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly will begin from Monday. Lucknow Commissionerate Police has completed preparations for this. Police force has been deployed near the Vidhan Bhawan for security purposes. Along with this, traffic will remain changed from the beginning to the end of the session.

Giving information on Sunday, Lucknow Police Commissionerate said that the monsoon session of the UP Assembly is proposed to begin from August 11. Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Satish Mahana, besides members of the Legislative Council and special dignitaries will be present in it.

During the session, there is a possibility of dharna and demonstration in front of the Vidhan Sabha by various political parties. On this occasion, for smooth traffic movement, the traffic arrangement will be as follows from August 11 to the end.

Traffic will remain changed

General traffic from Bandariya Bagh Chauraha will not be able to go towards Raj Bhavan, DSO Chauraha, Hazratganj Chauraha, GPO, Vidhan Sabha, rather this traffic will be able to reach its destination via Lal Batti Chauraha, Cantt or Golf Club Chauraha, 1090 Chauraha.

General traffic will not be able to go from DSO Chauraha towards Hazratganj, GPO Park, Vidhan Sabha Marg, rather this traffic will be able to reach its destination via Park Road, Mayfair Tiraha.

General traffic will not be able to go from Royal Hotel Chauraha towards Hazratganj Chauraha from in front of Vidhan Sabha, rather this traffic will be able to reach its destination via Kaiserbagh Chauraha, Parivartan Chowk, Subhash Chauraha, Chiraiyajheel, or Burlington Chauraha, Sadar Overbridge, Cantt.

Roadways, city buses coming from the metropolis side from the trisection under the Sankalp Vatika bridge will not be able to come towards Sikandarbagh Chauraha, Hazratganj Chauraha, Vidhan Sabha, rather these buses will go to their destination via Baikunth Dham, 1090 (Gandhi Setu) Chauraha, Bandariyabagh Chauraha, Lal Batti Chauraha, Cantt.

Roadways, city buses coming from Charbagh side from KCC trisection will not be able to come towards Hussainganj Chauraha, Royal Hotel Chauraha, Vidhan Sabha, rather these buses will go to their destination via Loco Chauraha, Cantt or Burlington Chauraha via Kaiserbagh.

Roadways, city buses coming from Gomtinagar will not be able to go towards Sikanderbagh Chauraha, Hazratganj Chauraha, Vidhan Sabha, rather these buses will be able to reach their destination via Baikunth Dham, Sankalp Vatika Overbridge, Chiraiyajheel Tiraha via Kaiserbagh and 1090 (Gandhi Setu) Chauraha, Bandariyabagh Chauraha, Lal Batti Chauraha, Cantt.

General traffic going from Sikanderbagh Chauraha towards Hazratganj, Vidhan Sabha will not be able to go towards Hazratganj Chauraha, rather this traffic will be able to reach its destination via Sikanderbagh Chauraha via Dainik Jagran Chauraha, Baloo Adda, Gandhi Setu (1090) Chauraha or Chiraiyajheel.

General traffic will not be able to go towards Vidhan Sabha from Parivartan Chowk, Hindi Sansthan Tiraha via Hazratganj Square, rather this traffic will go to its destination via Kaiserbagh Square or Chiraiyajheel Square, Sankalp Vatika or Sikanderbagh Square, Dainik Jagran Square, Gandhi Setu (1090) Square, Golf Club Square, Bandariyabagh Square, Lal Batti Square, Cantt.

General traffic will not be able to go from DSO Square towards Sisendi Tiraha, Royal Hotel Square, rather this traffic will go to its destination via Hazratganj Square, Mayfair Tiraha or Royal Hotel Square via Burlington Square, Cantt.
