Raebareli, 11 September: A huge uproar broke out in the meeting of the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. In the meeting, MLA Manoj Pandey put a censure motion on the matter of abusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother and he asked Rahul Gandhi to apologize.
On this, Rahul Gandhi refused to apologize. After this, MLA Pandey boycotted the meeting and walked out. A heated conversation was also held between the members in the meeting.
On Thursday, the meeting of District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) is being held in the Collectorate of Raebareli. MP Rahul Gandhi is chairing this meeting. As soon as the meeting began, former cabinet minister and Unchahar MLA Manoj Pandey put a censure motion on abusing Prime Minister Modi’s mother and he asked MP Rahul Gandhi to apologize. Rahul Gandhi refused to do so. As soon as he refused, a ruckus started in the meeting. Manoj Pandey boycotted the meeting and walked out.
After boycotting the meeting, Manoj Pandey while talking to journalists said that the country is hurt by the way the Prime Minister’s mother was abused. Rahul Gandhi should apologize for this.
Manoj Pandey said that Rahul is constantly making serious allegations on constitutional institutions like the Supreme Court, Election Commission, whereas the company from which Rahul Gandhi got the voters’ survey done has publicly apologized.
