Vivek Agnihotri’s directorial film ‘The Bengal Files’ was released in theaters on September 5. The makers had high hopes about the film before its release, it has been failing to fetch the audience to the theater since day one. With each passing day, its collection is declining. Now the figures of ‘The Bengal Files’ box office performance on the sixth day have come out.
According to the report of Sacnilk, ‘The Bengal Files’ did a business of Rs 01 crore on the sixth day of its release. With this, the total box office collection of the film has reached Rs 10.25 crore.
It is worth mentioning that it had a weak start of Rs 1.75 crore. On the second day, the film collected Rs 2.25 crore and on the third day Rs 2.75 crore. On the fourth day, its collection was Rs 1.15 crore and on the fifth day it was Rs 1.35 crore.
‘The Bengal Files’ is a fiction drama inspired by true events of Indian history and politics. The film is directed and written by Vivek Agnihotri, while he has taken the responsibility of production along with Abhishek Agarwal and Pallavi Joshi.
The film stars veteran actors like Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumar, Simrat Kaur, Anupam Kher, Shashwat Chatterjee, Namashi Chakraborty, Puneet Issar and Saurav Das. After theaters, the film will soon be available for streaming on the OTT platform ZEE5.
