Lucknow, 03 September: Dozens of workers of Samajwadi Party Mahila Sabha gheroed the residence of BJP MLA Ketki Singh located in Gulista Colony on Wednesday. The women of Mahila Sabha, who reached there with taps in their hands, protested by raising slogans against Ketki Singh. MLA Ketakee Singh was in her constituency at the time of the protest.
Police reached the spot and tried to stop the protest. When the protest was not stopped, the police took the women in a car to the protest site Eco Garden. During this, the women workers kept raising slogans of ‘Ketakee Singh Murdabad’.
MLA Ketakee Singh from Bansdih seat of Ballia was angry with the comment made on SP President Akhilesh Yadav regarding the ‘toti’. State President of Mahila Sabha Neha Singh, who was leading the protest, said that Ketakee Singh is constantly using abusive language. She is making derogatory comments on former CM Akhilesh Yadav by saying ‘toti-toti’ everyday. That is why we have come to donate a tap to her. Neha Singh said that if we cannot meet Ketakee Singh then please deliver the tap to her.
During the protest, MLA Ketakee Singh’s daughter was alone at home. Her daughter said that I was alone at home, I am 16 years old now. I do not do any politics, if anyone has a problem with statement then they should protest in front of my mother.
