Sitapur, February 8: The administration in Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh has gone on full alert in anticipation of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s planned visit on Monday, February 9. To ensure the Chief Minister’s program is conducted safely and peacefully, district magistrate (DM) Raja Ganapati R has declared the district a no-flying zone for two days. This order will be effective from Sunday until the program concludes on Monday evening.

Under the no-flying zone, there will be a complete ban on flying drones, releasing balloons, and flying kites within the district. The administration has clearly warned that strict legal action will be taken against anyone violating the ban.

It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is arriving on February 9 to attend the Gorakhnath Statue Installation Day program being held at Tapodham Ashram in Shastri Nagar Colony, Lonipurwa, in the city. Special security precautions are being taken due to the venue being located in a densely populated area.

Late Saturday evening, IG Zone Lucknow, Kiran S., personally inspected the venue and surrounding areas to review security arrangements. He issued necessary directives to officials and instructed them to complete all arrangements on time. A helipad has been prepared at the GIC grounds for the Chief Minister’s arrival. A green corridor approximately two kilometers long will be created from here to the venue, ensuring the Chief Minister’s convoy’s safe passage to the venue.

Further strengthening security arrangements, a heavy police force has been deployed at the venue and other sensitive areas. Drone surveillance, CCTV cameras, and plainclothes police personnel have also been deployed.

City CO Vinayak Bhosale stated that the police are vigilant regarding security arrangements and all preparations have been completed.
