Lucknow/Muzaffarnagar, June 11: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the saints showed the society the path of unity and connecting. The path which does not allow incidents like Kairana and Kandhla to occur. This is the same path which guarantees us security and protection and paves the way for upliftment. It also inspires us to fight in good and bad circumstances. Swami Gyan Bhikshuk Das Maharaj was a divine saint. He worked to carry forward the inspiration of Satguru Ravidas Maharaj in Shuktirtha.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was addressing the Saint Congregation and Satsang program in Shuktirtha Muzaffarnagar on Wednesday. This program was organized on the 65th death anniversary of Sant Swami Gyan Bhikshuk Das Maharaj and in the memory of Satguru Samandas Maharaj.

Chief Minister Yogi said that in the medieval period, when the country was bound by the shackles of slavery, foreign invaders were trampling the religion and culture of India. At that time, Satguru Ravidas Maharaj appeared in Sirgovardhan of Kashi as a beam of light. The inspiration he gave through ‘Karma Sadhana’ still works as a guide for the country and every devotee.

Ravidas Maharaj’s statement is a symbol of purity and cleanliness. Satguru Ravidas Maharaj made the society aware against social ostentation and evils. Inspired to believe in karma. Awakened spiritual consciousness, added Yogi.

He said that if the mind is pure, then Ganga is in the pot… Satguru Ravidas’ statement is a symbol of inner purity and cleanliness in life. He gave new inspiration to the society to stay away from social evils. Sant Ravidas Maharaj’s guru Sant Ramanand Maharaj had said that no one asks caste, whoever worships Hari becomes Hari’s…

The Prime Minister implemented Sant Ravidas’ words literally. The Chief Minister, while discussing the statement of Sant Ravidas, said that his words were very divine. Ravidas had said, I will be happy when everyone gets equal rights and food without discrimination. Prime Minister Modi implemented these words of Sant Ravidas literally through the Pradhan Mantri Garib Anna Kalyan Yojana. Food is being distributed to 81 crore people since the pandemic like Corona and this is the inspiration of the saints.

The Chief Minister said that the roads of Sirgovardhan, the holy birthplace of Ravidas Maharaj, were single lane before 2014, but with the inspiration of Prime Minister Modi, it was connected to the four lane. The ashram has been given a grand look. A grand statue of Guru Ravidas and a food area were built. Hundreds of bighas of land were purchased and a park and statue were established in the name of Satguru Ravidas Maharaj.

The Chief Minister said that Shuktirtha is a mythological pilgrimage. This is Bhagwatbhoomi. Five thousand years ago, Shukdev Maharaj had inspired Raja Parikshit on the importance of devotion, knowledge and liberation by narrating the first story of Bhagwat at this Dham. Maa Ganga is the uninterrupted flow of India’s Sanatan Dharma tradition, which paves the way for salvation in good and bad circumstances. No sect, religion or sect of the world can tell how many people have a history of five thousand years. Only you can make this claim. Whose successors are you and the carriers are the saints.

The Chief Minister said that next time, in front of Samandas Ashram, in the memory of Satguru Ravidas and Sant Samandas Maharaj, the ghat will be constructed, roads will be widened, parking, beautification will be done and a satsang hall will be established, so that the devotees do not have to face any problem. The Chief Minister said that when a good government comes and the guidance of saints is received, then only good happens. There should be thinking to do good.

The Chief Minister said that Gyan Bhikshuk Das and Samandas Maharaj have taken the mission of Satguru Ravidas forward. While listing the works of the government for the welfare of the poor, the Chief Minister said that the facilities that have brought about a change in the lives of every citizen of India have been made possible by the inspiration of Satguru Ravidas.
