Lucknow, October 11: To commemorate the centenary year of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is organizing path sanchalan at the Mandal and Basti levels across the country. Meanwhile, in the Sangh’s 100-year journey, for the first time in Lucknow University, on Saturday, Sangh workers organized a path sanchalan. Students and professors from Lucknow University participated in this path sanchalan.
Before the procession, Sanjay, co-provincial pracharak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Awadh Province, addressed the volunteers.
He urged the workers to spread the message of the Pancha Pranas (five vows) among the society. Ajit Shasne, Director of the National Botanical Research Institute, presided over the function. Anil, Sumit Awasthi, Sharad, and other volunteers were present on the occasion.
Bhaurao memories are linked to Lucknow University
Professor Amit Kushwaha of the Department of Political Science explained that Bhaurao Deoras, the architect of the Sangh’s work in Uttar Pradesh, was a student at Lucknow University. The Bhaurao Deoras Gate has been built in Lucknow University in his memory. RSS founder Dr Hedgewar sent him to Lucknow. Bhaurao enrolled in B.Com and LLB programs at Lucknow University. He received gold medals in both subjects. In Lucknow, he was active in the RSS as well as the freedom movement. His efforts led to a grand program dedicated to Subhash Chandra Bose at Lucknow University.
