Reclaim land from encroachment, Illegal land grabbers deserve no leniency, directs CM Yogi during ‘Janata Darshan’ in Gorakhpur

Gorakhpur, January 28: The Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued a clear warning to officials that if any land is encroached upon by a powerful person or land mafia, the land should be freed from encroachment immediately. Powerful people who encroach upon other’s land, those who dispossess the weak, and land mafia should not be spared at all. Strict legal action should be taken against them and they should be taught a lesson.

The CM reiterated that the government is determined to ensure that no injustice is done to anyone and that everyone’s life is prosperous.

Chief Minister Yogi was listening to people’s problems during the Janta Darshan held at the Gorakhnath Temple on Wednesday morning.

The Chief Minister reached out to the people seated on chairs in the Mahant Digvijay Nath Smriti Bhawan within the temple complex and listened to their problems one by one. Meeting with approximately 150 people, he assured them that no injustice would be allowed under his watch.

Referring all their applications to the relevant officials and directing them to ensure prompt and satisfactory resolution, the Chief Minister assured the people that the government is committed to resolving the problems of every victim.

During the Janta Darshan, upon receiving a complaint about land grabbing by powerful people, the Chief Minister directed the administrative and police officers present nearby to take immediate action on the land grabbing complaint. The land must be freed from encroachment and ensure that no powerful people are allowed to encroach upon anyone’s land.

During the Janta Darshan, some women also raised disputes with their in-laws and family-related complaints with the Chief Minister.

CM Yogi directed the officials to address these complaints by communicating with both parties and resolving the issue. Failing this, legal action should be taken.

He directed that revenue and police matters be resolved with complete transparency and impartiality, saying that no one should be treated unfairly. Every victim should be treated with sensitivity and helped.

During the Chief Minister’s public hearing, many people requested financial assistance for treatment. Chief Minister Yogi assured them that the government would provide full support.

Handing over their applications to officials, the Chief Minister directed that the treatment estimate process be completed as soon as possible and made available to the government. The treatment money will be sent directly to the hospital account
