Ramadan Moon sighted across India, first Roza to begin tomorrow, CM Yogi extends greetings

New Delhi, 18 February: The moon of the month of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak has been announced to be sighted today on Wednesday.

Due to bad weather in the capital Delhi and the surrounding areas since morning, there was already confusion regarding the moon and there was no report of moon sighting.

Meanwhile, there was report of moon sighting in many parts of the country. After this, Naib Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid Syed Shaban Bukhari, while announcing the moon sighting, has said that the first Roza of Ramadan will be observed tomorrow on February 19, 2026.

Chief Minister Yogi greets the people of the state on the occasion of the holy month of Ramzan

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has extended warm greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of the holy month of Ramzan.

In his congratulatory message, the Chief Minister said that during the holy days of Ramzan, noble deeds like fasting, service to humanity, worship of God promote values โ€‹โ€‹like patience, self-discipline, tolerance, simplicity etc. This strengthens the feeling of mutual love and brotherhood. He said that Uttar Pradesh is an example of harmony, brotherhood and cultural unity.
