New Delhi, May 5: The Russian President Vladimir Putin will come to India to attend the India-Russia Annual Summit-2025. In this bilateral talks, both the leaders will discuss cooperation in various fields including strategic partnership and cooperation.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today formally invited the President of Russia during a telephone conversation for the summit to be hosted by India this year. Russian President Putin has accepted Prime Minister Modi’s invitation to visit India.
The Kremlin issued a statement on Monday giving information related to the talks between the two leaders. It said, “The Indian leader invited the President of Russia to visit India for the traditional annual bilateral summit. The invitation was graciously accepted.”
It is noteworthy that the India-Russia summit is an important bilateral dialogue between the two countries, in which cooperation in various fields like strategic partnership, trade, energy, science and technology, nuclear energy, space cooperation and cultural exchange is discussed. The 22nd India-Russia Annual Summit was held in Moscow in July 2024, attended by Prime Minister Modi and Russian President Putin. In this summit, the two leaders agreed to strengthen and deepen the special and privileged strategic partnership. They condemned terrorism and extremism and resolved to jointly fight against it.
