Lucknow, November 28: President Droupadi Murmu today inaugurated a state-level meditation yoga program held at Gulzar Upvan of the Brahma Kumaris Institute on Sultanpur Road. Tight security arrangements have been made at and around the venue.
President Murmu arrived at Lucknow Airport Friday morning by a special plane. She was welcomed at the airport by Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak.
President then proceeded directly to Gulzar Upvan of the Brahma Kumaris Institute on Sultanpur Road and inaugurated the state-level meditation yoga program. Tight security arrangements were maintained for her arrival. No one was allowed entry without a pass or screening.
Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with several political, spiritual, and social figures, attended the event.
A large number of people have also arrived to participate in this meditation program organized at the newly built Brahma Kumaris Rajyoga Training Center.
After this program, President Droupadi Murmu will also attend the closing ceremony of the 19th National Jamboree of the Bharat Scouts and Guides at around 2 pm.
