Lucknow, January 19: A pickup vehicle and an auto-rickshaw collided in the Malihabad police station area of โโLucknow on Monday injuring seven people in the accident. Police arrived on the information and admitted the injured to the Central Health Center (CHC) for treatment.
Malihabad Police Station in-charge Surendra Singh Bhati said that near lucky dharam kanta, a Mahindra pickup (Dala) vehicle number (UP 30 BT 0474), loaded with wooden plywood, lost control and overturned. An e-rickshaw number (UP32 QT T 1544) was hit by it. Several people riding in the auto-rickshaw were injured in the accident. The police team, showing promptness, immediately sent all the injured by ambulance to the Community Health Center (CHC) Malihabad for first aid.
The injured include Malihabad residents Shahabuddin, Shyam Kishore, Ashrafi Lal, Danish Ali, Unnao residents Umar, Khushboo, and Noorjahan. All are undergoing treatment. Police have removed the injured vehicles from the road and restored normal traffic.
