Lucknow, October 13: For those devotees who will not be able to participate in the festival of lights, Shri Ayodhyaji Teerth Vikas Parishad has launched an innovative digital initiative, ‘Ek Diya Ram Ke Naam’, which will connect people emotionally, informed Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh on Monday.
The Tourism Minister said that by registering online for ‘Ek Diya Ram Ke Naam’, devotees can virtually light a lamp and offer their devotion at the feet of Lord Shri Ram. They can also send well-wishes to their loved ones.
He said that the “Ayodhya Deepotsav” has now become an event that connects people globally. Initiatives like ‘Ek Diya Ram Ke Naam’ have made the Deepotsav more inclusive on a global scale.
The Tourism Minister said that after the consecration of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, there has been a huge increase in the number of devotees coming to Ayodhya, and many devotees are keen to participate. Keeping this in mind, arrangements have been made for people from all over the world to digitally light lamps through the ‘Divya Ayodhya’ app. ‘
Three types of packages are available for devotees on the “Divya Ayodhya app”. The โน2,100 package, titled “Ram Jyoti,” is the ultimate pledge of the “Ek Diya Ram Ke Naam” campaign of Ayodhya Deepotsav 2025. It includes eight components: roli, Saryu water (in a brass pot), Ayodhya dust, Ramdana, sugar candy, Raksha Sutra, Hanuman Garhi laddus, and Charan Paduka (wooden slippers). Upon completing the pledge online, this entire sacred offering will be delivered directly to your home. Another package, titled
“Sita Jyoti, ” is available for devotees for โน1,100. Dedicated to Mother Sita, this package includes five components: roli, Saryu water (in a brass pot), Ramdana, Raksha Sutra, and Hanuman Garhi laddus.
Meanwhile, the โน501 package, titled “Lakshman Jyoti,” dedicated to the valor and service of Lord Ram’s brother, Lakshman, includes roli, Ayodhya dust, Ramdana,It includes five components, including a protective thread and sugar candy. Devotees can receive this package at home by taking an online pledge and spiritually participating in the festival of lights 2025.
