Dahod, May 26: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that in Pahalgam, Kashmir, terrorists shot a father in front of his children. This made our blood boil. The terrorists had challenged 140 crore Indians, so he did what the countrymen had given him the responsibility of Pradhan Sevak. Operation Sindoor is not just a military action, it is an expression of values โโand feelings of Indians.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was addressing a public meeting in Dahod on Monday. Before this, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development works of many departments worth more than Rs 24 thousand crore.
After this, in a public meeting, Prime Minister Modi said that after the terrorist incident in Pahalgam, the three armies were given a free hand and the brave soldiers of the country did what the world had not seen in the last several decades. They found the 9 biggest terrorist bases operating across the border. The game that the terrorists had played on 22nd April was destroyed on 6th May. When the Pakistani army showed daring, our army defeated the Pakistani army as well.
Prime Minister said that the country that was born after the partition has only one goal – enmity towards India, hatred and to harm India. Whereas the goal of India is to remove poverty here, strengthen the economy and make India developed. We are continuously working in this direction.
The Prime Minister mentioned the changes that have come from Gujarat’s tribal patti Umargam to Ambaji, after the inauguration and bhoomi pujan of railway and development projects.
He said that there was a time when there was not a single school upto 12th standard in the tribal belt of Gujarat, but today the situation has completely changed.
He appealed to the people of Gujarat to adopt Swadeshi. The basic objective of the government is that the areas which have lagged behind in development will be developed on priority basis.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that today is 26th May, on this day in the year 2014, I took oath as the Prime Minister for the first time. During this time, the country took decisions which are unimaginable, unprecedented. In these years, the country has broken the shackles of decades. The country has progressed in every sector.
Prime Minister said that today we 140 crore Indians are working together to make our country a developed India. Whatever is needed for the progress of the country, we should make it in India itself. This is the demand of today’s time.
Prime Minister said that today India is moving ahead at a fast pace in the world of manufacturing. Today we are exporting everything from smart phones to vehicles, military equipment, medicines to countries across the world. Today India makes the technology required for rail metro and is also exporting it to the world. Dahod is a living example of this. The most spectacular among these is the electric locomotive factory in Dahod. Its foundation stone was laid three years ago. Today, after three years, the first electromotive has been made in this factory. This is a matter of pride for Gujarat and the country.
The Prime Minister said that the completion of electrification of 100% rail network of Gujarat is also a big achievement.
Discussing his relations with Dahod, the Prime Minister said that his relations with Dahod were not formed after he entered politics, but it is about 70 years old. When he got the opportunity to work with two, three generations.
He said that today when he went to Parel after about 20 years, the entire Parel has changed. At that time, he used to come back home in the evening after eating roti with his friends in Parel. He said that he has got the good fortune of seeing the dream he had about Dahod come true before his eyes. Dahod has become a model of how a tribal district should develop in India. It is also an example of the speed at which development has taken place in the railways. Today, Vande Bharat trains are running on about 70 routes in the country. From today, the way to go from Ahmedabad to Veraval has also become easier through Vande Bharat.
The Prime Minister said that now the young generation of the country is developing new technology in India. Earlier coaches and locomotives had to be imported from abroad, today India has become an important exporter in the world by manufacturing many things related to railways. Coaches made in India are being exported to countries like Australia. Small and big railway equipment are being exported to countries like Mexico, Spain, Germany, Italy etc. This work is being done by MSMEs.
Prime Minister said that India is exporting Made in India locomotive-engines to many countries. The speed at which Made in India is developing, India is holding its head high with pride.
He called upon the people to stop using foreign goods. In Ganpati, small eyed Ganpati is brought from outside, this should be stopped. When the railway will be strong, facilities will also increase, it will benefit industry, agriculture, students and women.
He said that the new route of the railway has been inaugurated. Express train has been started between Dahod and Valsad. The tribal people of Dahod will benefit from the railway route reaching all places. The youth of Dahod will get employment at the local level through factories. There was a time when I saw Parel of Dahod dying in front of my eyes and today I have seen it becoming alive and magnificent. In the coming days, one locomotive will be made in Dahod every two days. He said that today in Vadodara, there is a lot of development in the field of Viman.
Nor is the work of making airplanes going on at a fast pace. The country’s first Gati Shakti University has been built in Vadodara. A large factory for making rail cars has been built in Savli, which will fly its flag in the world. The Prime Minister made a special mention of the changes taking place due to industrial development in Dahod and Panchmahal. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel also addressed on this occasion.
First locomotive engine dedicated to the country, inauguration and foundation stone laying of works worth 27 thousand crores
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development works worth more than Rs 24 thousand crores of Railway Department, Water Supply Department, Road and Building Department, Urban Development and Urban Housing Department through remote at a program organized in Dahod on Monday.
Prime Minister dedicated the first 9000 HP locomotive engine to the country in Dahod. He inaugurated the Loco Manufacturing Shop-Rolling Stock Workshop constructed at a cost of more than Rs 21405 crore and inaugurated railway works worth Rs 23692 crore, including doubling works of Anand-Godhra, Mehsana-Palanpur, Rajkot-Hadmatiya railway lines, Sabarmati-Dahod 107 km railway line electrification and Kalol-Kadi-Katosan railway line gauge conversion works worth Rs 2287 crore. The Prime Minister flagged off the Sabarmati-Veraval Vande Bharat train and the Valsad-Dahod Express train.
